Seniors Coalition Executive Director Sean Ferritor recently sat down with Capital area Seniors Coalition members and supporters to hear firsthand the issues and concerns that are most important moving ahead into the 115th session of Congress.
“What a pleasure it was to sit down with our members and supporters and discuss the biggest issues facing seniors today,” states Ferritor. “Social Security was surely at the top of the agenda, and for many seniors the key to survival,” continued Ferritor. “That’s why the Seniors Coalition is fighting so hard for the enactment of a Lock-Box on the Social Security Trust Fund to protect it from continued Congressional raids.”
The Seniors Coalition will continue to reach out to local members and supporters and have several trips to Capitol Hill planned before the end of the 114th Congress.
